'Absolute!!' is an underground soul session based at Tokyo's Loop club and run by British producer, DJ, singer, multi-instrumentalist, Red Bull Music Academy graduate and now album curator, Aroop Roy. Aroop has very quickly become a leading figure in the underground music scene in Japan through his productions, DJ'ing and musicianship touring with artists such as Recloose.
'Absolute!!' has helped Tokyo maintain a reputation as fertile ground for innovation. This compilation will hopefully emphasise that very point, and allow the world to hear the talented artists that will become tomorrow's leading lights.
The album features unreleased tracks, productions & remixes from artists including Mr Complex & Pharoah Monche, Karizma, Simbad (Raw Fusion/Toys Factory), Replife produced by Dego (4Hero) & Kaidi Tatham (Bugz In The Attic), Daisuke Tanabe and Kay Suzuki. Like its predecessor 'Basement Soul: Sounds From The Floor', 'Absolute!!' will be limited to 1000 copies worldwide.
